He has trained and worked in leading hospitals across Europe, including the Queen Victoria Hospital in the United Kingdom, an internationally renowned center of excellence in microsurgery, as well as specialized centers in the Netherlands focused on advanced facial aesthetic surgery. He has extensive experience in managing complex cases and correcting unsatisfactory outcomes from previous procedures.

Dr. Christos Kassos was born in Athens and graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Ioannina. He completed his specialty training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in major hospitals across Germany, Greece, and Cyprus, gaining extensive experience across the full spectrum of the specialty.
Following the completion of his specialist training, he pursued advanced fellowship training in the United Kingdom, where he worked in leading university and tertiary referral hospitals. At Queen Victoria Hospital, an internationally recognized center of excellence in microsurgery, he served as a Senior Microsurgery Fellow, specializing in microsurgery and breast surgery, including breast reconstruction using autologous tissue techniques.
He further expanded his expertise through a fellowship at the world-renowned Velthuis Clinic in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, focusing on aesthetic surgery and, in particular, advanced facial rejuvenation procedures such as the deep plane facelift and fat grafting. He also worked at Maastricht University Medical Center in the Netherlands, gaining experience in a highly specialized academic environment managing complex reconstructive and aesthetic cases.
A major area of his expertise is breast surgery, encompassing both aesthetic breast procedures and breast reconstruction using autologous tissue or implants, as well as the surgical treatment of lymphedema. In addition, he has extensive experience in facial surgery, post-bariatric body contouring procedures, and revision surgery for complications or unsatisfactory outcomes of previous operations.
Dr. Kassos holds a Master’s degree in Surgical Oncology of Skin Tumors and has completed advanced training in contemporary lymphedema treatments. He is also a PhD candidate with a research focus on microsurgery. Throughout his career, he has attended numerous specialized training courses and has participated as a speaker at national and international Plastic Surgery conferences. His scientific research has received awards both in Greece and internationally.
He is an active member of several prestigious professional societies, including the Hellenic Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the Cyprus Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (WSRM), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
Since 2025, he has been practicing in his private clinic, providing services in both Greece and Cyprus. His approach is based on thorough clinical evaluation and the personalization of treatment plans according to each patient’s needs, always aiming to achieve natural, safe, and long-lasting results, even in the most demanding cases.
